The Ham and Legs Show #066 Featuring Rick Beatty!
Legs’ son was a bit under the weather and needed his Dad,so Rick to the rescue!! Thank you, Rick.So, Obama finally fired McChrystal. It took Rolling Stone to do it. The GOP is in agreement with Patraeus as his replacement. Limbaugh is the only one making a stink. No matter what Obama does, he'll never please Ham's Pooh Bear.
Part of the conversation dealt with Rand Paul and the 14th amendment, he is the GOP candidate that just keeps on giving. Kentucky may get Conway in office after all!
Apparently, being an anchorperson is the exact same type of job as President of the United States….at least according to Gretchen Carlsen of Fox & Friends. Hope you enjoy that.
The Bush administration reversed the Clinton administration’s requirements on modeling deepwater spills. Clinton’s administration thought that the models should be based on deep water conditions, Bush’s not so much.
Speaking of deepwater oil….the cap got bumped off on Wed. It’s back on, but 100s of 1000s of gallons of crude gushed for almost 24 hours.
And the Judge that overturned the Obama moratorium isn’t allowing for a stay of his order…he has MANY ties to the oil industry, including financial ties to the Deep Water Horizon rig itself.
The Times Square bomber plead guilty this week. Pesky Miranda rights stopped us from getting justice…oh wait.
The Texas GOP Party Platform is out! And you’ll just love how they want things to be run in this country.
Ham and Rick attempted to talk about the World Cup, since Legs asked Rick to bring it up, only neither Ham nor Rick is watching, so Legs will have more time next week when he returns!

This was the most informative, informational episode I have heard as of yet.
The only downfall I could possibly say is that there was no recap of the 2010 World Cup. Pity.
Rick, as usual, did a great job. I say there should be a change of show title, like The JoRi Show, or The Ham Bea Show, or The Jody & Rick Smackdown, or The Segues Are Us Show. Anyway, Rick did a much better job than that other schmoe he sat in for. I'm just sayin'.
Good job all around. Looking forward to your next show. Perhaps Legs can be delegated to the Green Room where his skills a a bartender would be more aptly applied.

Legs as the Jody & Rick Smackdown...that's my preferred title....bartender....not bad. Except who would glare at me from across the table? I find it heartwarming. You were missed, and Rick rocked the bunker, as usual. Glad Teagan is doing better.
