So, the planned community center in NY is still under fire and Al Qeada couldn't be happier!  This is exactly what they want people to think about the West and the US in particular.  Why play into their hands?  And, well, the anti Islam sentiments have finally, and not surprisingly, become violent.  A 25 year resident of this country, who drives a cab in NYC, was stabbed by his passenger after the passenger asked if the drive was a Muslim.  What have we become?

Boehner unveiled his "ideas" for the future.  Similar to his 2 page health care plan.  Not a whole lot to it, nothing new and will raise the deficit.  Linconln Chafee (ex GOP Senator) didn't vote for Bush's tax cuts and feels vindicated.
