Ham and Legs Show #099

GOP is still at it...there are 3 bills up for votes soon that all deal with limiting access for women's reproductive services.  Could these bills actually begin to fracture their relationship with women in the party?  And what about the Tea Party Liberatarians?  Are they REALLY for small government or is it lip service.  2 Republican lawmakers in Wyoming came out strongly against proposed abortion restrictive legislation State Rep. Lisa Shepperson and State Rep. Sue Wallis who actually told her own personal story of having to make the choice to have an abortion.  You can hear them here on Rachel Maddow from her Tuesday night broadcast.

And, where are the bills to help bring JOBS back to the US?  Wasn't THAT the mandate they so vociferously claimed after the election?

The GOP lost 2 major votes this week as well, can Boehner not count?

No matter WHAT the President does, the GOP wants the opposite.

Also, Rep. Lee steps down in record time after a photo scandal on Craig's List  breaks.  There had to be something WORSE potentially for him to step down so quickly and Sen. Kyl is also retiring....this could open the seat up for a Dem....interesting indeed.

Finally, the GOP complained that the Congress wasn't transparent enough, they had an opportunity to make it more transparent, but alas, no go....hypocrites.

And a new-ish segment, "Do You Know or Do You Care?".  It needs a theme song and Lonny to announce.

Singles and coupled folks, what is the reality and what are the myths, thank you, Julie!

And much, much more!

Enjoy this week's show.

Talk at you later.

    Ham and Legs,
I really enjoyed your show, especially with the topic of abortion. I for one, believe it is a choice and who is the Government to say that a woman can't have one period, even in the event of rape, incest, or medical reasons? That is just absurd to me as a woman. I may get some flack about my views, but I believe it is a choice, and I strongly believe it should stay that way.
About that politician or whoever who caught caught doing his business online, I heard he had said someone hacked his account and posted the picture. LOL! Yeah, right. If that were the case, then why resign?
    Great show!

    Hey Ham,

Here's the link to the Match.com survey about singles -

I can't believe that Legs didn't tell the truth about his job on episode 98... actually, I knew he was making it up because the job he described sounded suspciously like the Doc from the Love Boat. And Ham... well, I've just resolved to the fact that you want to remain somewhat mysterious and I'm cool with that.

If I find anything interesting this week. I'll be sure to send a link.

Love the show as always and love the fact that you mention your listeners by name. It makes me feel like I'm part of the Ham and Legs show.
