Ham and Legs Show #104 The 2 Year Anniversary!
Anyway, we hope you do enjoy this week's show.
The House is looking to pass HR3, the one that prohibits the use of any federal funding for abortion, but this little tidbit goes even further than that, apparently, the IRS could audit people to find out if they used funds for an abortion: from a Mother Jones article: If an American who used such a benefit were to be audited, Barthold said, the burden of proof would lie with the taxpayer to provide documentation, for example, that her abortion fell under the rape/incest/life-of-the-mother exception, or that the health insurance she had purchased did not cover abortions.
Rep. David Camp (R,MI) wants to take our tax rates back to 1931! That worked out well, didn't it?
Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D,IL) has introduced the Fairness in Taxation Act, which seems pretty fair. Ham likes to quote Chris Rock on these types of things....He said, "It's not the super wealthy that need pre-nups, it's everyone else. 'Cuz if you got $30 Million and you have to give away 1/2, you still have $15 Million. But if all you got is $30 Thousand and you have to give away 1/2, well, that's a different story!". And up until this type of legislation, the high end cap was at $373 thousand in earnings capped at 35%. So, if you made $500,000/year, you paid the same rate as someone who made $26 Million/year...and that is just not fair. Plus the highest rate on this bill is still LOWER than the highest rate was under President Kennedy. If the GOP chooses to fight this, I think they might lose the battle.
Scott Walker (R)-the Governor of WI's real agenda is about a corporate grab of assets. He, and many other GOP Governors want to give everything to the uber wealthy and corporations. Ham will list them and their deeds.
The Nuclear situation in Japan has people talking about the US nuclear plan, and Gov. Cuomo (D,NY) wants to shut down the Indian Point Plant. Your thoughts on Nuclear power?
Well, as usual, thank you for listening. Talk at you later!

Hey Ham and Legs. Another awesome show.
As you know, I have Ms. Carol's back. Anything for her, you know that. Sadly, the page is still up, though they have taken your aunt's name down, and disabled the wall, but it still has info in the profile info. I can't understand for the life of me, why people do this sort of thing.
You all are awesome, and as you know, I have everyone's best interest at heart.
Love and blessings!

Yippee!! 2 years...good stuff. Sorry I'm late in posting. I can't remember what I had to say other than it was a Great trip to Atlanta. Minnie Driver was very pleasant to work with. Enjoyed working with Brad Silberling, Jeff Wadlow, Beau Bauman, and the rest of the cool folk on "Hail Mary". Pilots are always a bit chaotic but I think these folks have something good.
Have a Great show tonight! Viva Year 3!!

I enjoyed your posts, the fact that your site is a little bit different makes it so very interesting, I get fed up of seeing the same old boring recycled stuff all of the time.
