Ham and Legs Show #109

So, now the GOP is getting a little payback.  Apparently, town halls this summer will actually have people arguing facts versus fiction regarding Medicare.....

And, whilst we're on the GOP subject, is it really a good idea to spend tax payer money at $520/hour on defending DOMA?  ...

Wisconsin is having some recalls, and some are targeted at Democrats, but apparently, the petitions and how they were getting signed might not be on the up and up.

The President wants to make sure that contractors who are awarded government contracts release who they donate too regarding elections and such...Sen. McConnell doesn't like that idea....Wasn't  new GOP about transparency?  Perhaps not.

Thank you for listening!  Talk at you later.

    Hi Ham and Legs,
Sorry I've been super busy the past couple of weeks. I've just caught up to the podcast.

Ham, I'm sorry about All My Children... I really am... I watched as a child and I loved Erica Kane. Do you need some Zoloft or would a hug do?

Ok, so... Donald Trump has nothing better to talk about besides the President's birth certificate. SERIOUSLY? Maybe he should talk about his qualifications for the office of the presidency...oh wait, he doesn't have any...My bad yo! Here's an interesting article that reveals that one in four Americans do not believe that the President was born in the US.

Maybe the reason why 1 in 4 Americans don't believe that the President was born in the United States is because they don't know that Hawaii is an actual state... it has been since August 21, 1959.

Here's my question, is Donald Trump going to request the birth certificates of all the white candidates because they could be Canadian and those Canadians they come take our jobs and our precious metals (I'm kidding). Here's a quote from the article above that proves my point about the Wiley Canadians: "Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tweeted, "Media: admit it, Trump forced the issue. Now, don't let the WH distract you w/the birth certificate from what Bernanke says today. Stay focused, eh?"

Notice how she ended her statement with "eh?"... Sarah Palin is Canadian, dontchaknow. I want to see a birth certificate!

On a totally different subject... Ham, did you do something nice for your Mom's birthday yesterday?
    Love you guys.
    Julie

    p.s. Not wearing any socks.

Thank you for your condolences over All My Children.  It's going to be weird not watching after its September finale.  Whatever will I watch when I get home from work??? I may just have to do MORE research for this podcast, I suppose.

I phone my Mom on her b-day and she should be getting what I sent her today.  It's a "silly", as we call things that are just because and nothing too special.  She was having a lovely b-day when I phoned her.

Thank you, as always, for listening, Julie.  And glad your feet are naked when doing so!
